Old seal started leaking on the power steering and oil coming out by distributor. Pulled old seal and in looking at ordering new seal it is calling for 2 seals instead of 1. Any thoughts on if they are made thinner so 2 are needed now. Thanks

One seal at the rear and one on the front of the shaft behind the governor gear.

Both are A-C Part #0229372-8(National #450023)  .625" X 1.375" X .406"
Should be readily available at any auto parts store or on Ebay.
