Have a D19 just died today. Replaced coil still nothing. Getting plenty of fuel no spark. My question is will points from a D17 work. Went to tsc what a joke they are but they had points for an Allis 190 will they work. Just need it to run for couple hours to get done round baling then I was going to put electronic ignition in it. Oh before it shut off started missing. Like I said has plenty of fuel flow out of bowl. Just was wondering bout points from a D17 or 190 and if they'll work on it.
Thanks

My vote is for the condensor, too. I do believe D19 tune up kits are the same as the WD45/D17, etc. 190 kit is different.

So a condenser off a d17 will work. That's what I was looking for. Thanks for the input

Do you have voltage at the coil with the ignition turned on? Look there first. You might have a bad ignition switch.

If you have the electronic ignition kit on hand you can install it as quickly as you can change the points and condensor. Steve at B&B Custom Circuits has the good points and the electronic ignition kits or you can try NAPA for the points and condensor, don't buy the cheap junk from TSC.
