Neighbor was Bush hogging late Monday night, and tragically fell off. Left a wife and three young kids. I love my old ac but you have to remember sadly lacks basic safety equipment SO USE COMMON SENSE! LIKE DRINKING AND DRIVING ANYTHING DON'T MIX!!! poor emergency responders have an image they will never get out of there heads

I agree 100%. 

I don't know any of the details, but I see a lot of older tractors (of all makes) without fenders. I always think that one incident can be the last if someone is thrown into one of the back tires.

Hate to hear this . Our newish tractor has a seat belt , but I never wear it .

You can never be too careful on any kind of farm equipment.  As I said earlier this year be certain you have every safety item available on your equipment.  Don't be afraid to add some too  While I loved to work on Allis Chalmers equipment but you can never be too safe.
