dig into stockpile, back up and load truck, no turning around. I have seen cats with side tipper buckets, but never a back dump like this one...

I have a book written about the building of the Dam On Lake Lanier here in Georgia, that
shows the workers digging the tunnels using this style of loader to load the blasted rock into trucks to haul out. The tunnels were not wide enough to allow the loaders to turn around, but were tall enough to dump over the top |

There was a company called EIMCO that built rigs similar to that. They built crawler tractors [dozers and loaders] with the engines behind the operator.
