All, I would love some help figuring out what year my new to me AC Hd6G serial number 4082 was manufactured?? Does anyone have a free manual or parts listing? Hydraulic diagrams and pressures??

We are attempting to add an external filter as the in tank was destroyed by previous owners. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot remember the exact years, but HD 6 came on the market before 1960. I want to say 57 or 58. So a very good chance it is pre 1960.

Surplus Center has has screens made to be put in the tank catching the big stuff before it get to the pump. The real fine filter is the last thing in the return line before oil is dumped back in the tank. Just put Surplus Center in any search engine to find them.

The HD6G hydrolic oil filter is 3016079 and the pressure relief valve is properly adjusted when it open at pressure of 1200 to 1250 p.s.i.
