I knew it was a Dodge right off. First vehicle I ever drove was a '39 pickup at about 8 Yrs. old. I'd fill 10 milk cans with water and drive it a half mile down the road to the woods to feed and water the sows that we let farrow in the woods in the summer. But that's another story. Anyway it got retired to the woods where the sows pretty much tore all four fenders off while rooting. It sat there for 5 years until a couple friends and I drug it back to the machine shed with the "WD" and made a rat rod of her. We used a couple 5 gallon buckets upside down for seats. Ripped off the flapping fenders, hood and the exhaust and it was done. Oh one more thing. I put some flame decals out of a model car kit on the dash around the gauges and away we went. Once my friends 3 year old brother was in the middle and pulled back on the emergency brake until it caught fire below. Good thing we lived on a gravel road and could throw road dust up under there to get it out.

The only thing that's different from your truck is the head lights were on pedestals. Dad paid $250 for it and replaced it with a '53 International.

Paul, Just brought the truck home yesterday and not going to touch anything till I get the title. I haven’t got it on the road yet to make the fenders flap, had enough brakes to hold it back when unloading. I want to drain the fuel, flush the tank/lines, change oil/filter. Motor is free, going to put a little ATF in the cylinders just to make sure the rings are free. Looks like a 1.5 ton 236 flat head, 4spd so far w/out turning signals. There was quite the story with this truck, I’ll wait until the title gets here before I share. From what I understand the truck was last used in ‘08. I’ll need a bunch of small parts and on the lookout for a 2spd rear. ExSW— I would like to find any information available if you have something you’re willing part from. BTW— that Cummins will stay in the car

Drove one like that many years ago chasing a fox silage chopper across the fields! --- I kinda liked the truck, ---- Gm guy myself, ---but as long as they run I don't care what animal is on the hood! LOL!!
