another welcome... I am not your guy for answers but there are others on here who know the stuff of Allis, and can lead you to the right conclusion to the problem...if there is a problem ... or just about any information you need.

I don't know a lot about AC, just kind of "fell into" owning a basket case '41 model but if nothing else, know that you're not alone!  We're in Manchester by the way
