    Posted: 25 Mar 2022 at 10:30am
I was walking in an area of my property the other day where I last used my HD4 and found this on the ground. It's obviously from my machine, but not being a mechanic I have no idea where to even start to think it might be from, or how important it might be. I'm inclined to think pretty important though since it seems to be some kind of retaining ring /clip or something. Any help identifying it would be appreciated!

Check the back of machine on under side or rear housing where inner axle bearing cover is located .
Then as it looks like external snap ring could be from hyd cylinder pin retention
