I have purchased a couple of radiators. One is definitely a styled wc or wd. The other looks like an unstyled wc but the upper water neck and temp gauge are off set to the left side of center a couple inches when viewed from fan side. It has the allis chalmers stamped in the upper tank. Did some wc/wf have the temp gauge offset from the rad cap? I do not have any pictures at this time. Hopefully I can get some tomorrow. I have looked online and haven't seen a hood rad that has the temp gauge offset. Thanks

I have a '37 WC (unstyled).  Allis Chalmers on the top tank.  The temp  gauge is centered, directly behind the filler cap.  May not be the answer you're looking for but I hope it narrows down the possibilities.
