D-17 Series III industrial diesel with a TS-1000 loader and a Mark IV hoe.
The loader and hoe are Henry products.

Tractor appears to be industrial D-17 with shuttle. Don't know about hoe or loader.

Yes it is a industrial D17 series III diesel with shuttle shift. 1963 S/N 70546D
The hoe is a Henry Mark-IV s/n 3A1518AC
The Loader is a Henry TS1000 S/N 33I3AC
It's fun to see all the responces.
Anyone know of or have one set up like this?

OK, I cheated a little. Had to check a brochure to see if it was a TS -1000 or L-200 loader. It is a very rare comb and I've never seen one for real. I've never understood why A-C built the I-60/600/615 on the D-15 tractor instead of the D-17.

The hoe is real similar to the AC 615 detachable hoe I have that came off a HD4 loader. Same type cesna swing rotary piston, but the legs are mounted a little higher on frame. This unit is 4 stick where my 615 is 2 stick for hoe controls.

My D17 Industrial is a gas but was probably set up just like that. It still had the TS1000 loader but the hoe had been removed with a cutting torch. Yea Calvin you hit it right on the nose. Good Job. Coke, I believe the reason Allis didn't make the D17 the power plant for their Back Hoe and loader combo was three fold. It is a powerful beast. Over 11,000 Lbs without loaded tires or ballist, The turning radius is not condusive for tight quaters. And the power steering is slugish as it has the same power assist system like the farm tractors. The i600 and an i40 will both run circles around and inside this old D17 because of the shorter lenght between drive and streering axels and the true power steering they have. The good thing about this old D17 is it runs better than any of the other Budas i have and the hoe has litttle or no wear. Yee Haw ! Tom, i saw your D17 industrial when you first posted the photos, although it was in bad condition i was jelious. Now i found this beauty and my wife is calling it my Girlfriend. Ha ha!!! SHe is a beauty. How is you D17 industrial project comming along?

I wish I had some progress going on mine but at least the major pieces are inside out of the elements. The engine in mine looked good from the outside, but when I took it apart I found it split at the bottom of all the sleeve webbing. The center web was split through to the main bearing, so the block in mine was scrap. I have a replacement block that I think is OK but I haven't done much more than take it apart and verify that the bottom isn't split out.

The shuttle seemed to be pretty good, I have that shimmed up and ready for whenever I get around to putting some time into the tractor.
