my ca #8 loader came in today! everything is in great shape, also came with home made snow plow. Just pull the bucket and the plow mounts right on, it even has tilt adjusters. Only thing missing are the frame stands, any out there? I'm looking. I'll get some pictures on when I can. Anyone else out there have a ca #8, I'd love to see some pics. Ron

Oh yea, the 4 door long bed diesel truck and trailer with the loader still on got stuck in the mud, hooked a chain to the little ca and pulled it right out, twice. The ca is my personal favorite. Ron |

Ron,
Here's a few pictures of my CA no. 8 loader and one from the manual. Enjoy and good luck with your new loader.

Here is a couple of pics of my 53. If you need the stands, you can make a set out of angle iron without much work. I could get dimensions for you if needed. Also remember your tractor will not be as stable with the loader up in the air, have fun with it.

WOW! guys those are beautiful. I'm going through my ca mechanically right now and then I'll try to make it as pretty as these. Another thing I need for the loader is the return spring. Where can I find one of those? Leon, I'd like to find some originals, but if I decide to go that route I'll hit you up for those specs. Thanks Ron

What some beatifully restored CA's. Great looking tractors.
Hey guys, be careful with those front end loaders. Remember the center of gravity on your tractor goes up when the bucket is lifted.
I have had some very dear friends killed on tractors with front end loaders.
Good Luck!

When I got the loader, it came without a bucket so I made the one that's on there. It's not a perfect match but #8 buckets are hard to come buy. The return spring is actually a garage door lift assist spring, but it works great and looks close to original. Take care.
