While traveling up Highway 3 in the Miss. Delta I seen a rare site. It was 7 or 8 Allis Chalmers tractors and two Gleaner R 60's at a old farmhouse. I believe it was 2-7080's, 3-7060's a 7030, and a 7045. They were at Highways 3 and 322 in Lambert, Miss. They were nice looking tractors that were hooked to two IH planters and the others were hooked to IH disc ready for spring planting. The only green was some grass poking though the yard next to a fairly new Sukup grain bin. I have never seen this equipment before and it was a very pleasing sight to see them in a area that has little to no Allis equipment. It sure would be great to see them working in that Delta ground in the middle of all that nasty green equipment around there.
Does the owner visit this site or maybe someone knows him on here. I stopped by the farm but no one was around. Looked like the late seventies- early eighties all over again. I would just like to tell him what a refreshing site he has brought that area.

Kevin I was at Guntersville this weekend and after the rain Thursday Friday and Saturday and cold weather Saturday I don't think you will be planting this week. Also bet you are glad you didn't have corn sprouting if you had the amount of hail that we experienced Friday morning. Glad we seen it coming on radar so we waited to go fishing and watched the storm from Cracker Barrel.

Andrew, I was just try to rub it in a little with Brian. It did turn cooler Sat. but it will be some corn planting here just as soon as the ground dries. I will probably wait till the first week in April because I will plant mostly in cooler bottomland.
You sould have fished last weekend. It was in the seventies and sunny. Anyway, hope you left a few seed in the River.
