One thing to watch on the large bore Marvels, is make sure the float pontoons are not bent in just a fuzz to where one or both of the pontoons will contact the inside wall of the float bowls hanging up the float. Looking at the floats from the front, if they're bent in just a tiny bit, they can interfere with the inside wall of the float bowls hanging up the floats and causing a flooding condition. HTH

You can wash the dirt off the body but you can’t wash the farmer out of the heart and soul

Steve Fisher,
I had advice from Steve B&B that I did not do when I had my carb apart. And it could be part of your problem? He recommends cleaning the passages and threads and seats real well with soft bristle bore brushes. He mentioned that is can cause a leak path past the seals/seats. Just a thought. Good luck. I have not thought about the pontoons being tweaked. Let us know what you find out. Regards, Chris
