Want to thank Ryan for helping me out with my D14 project. Needing rear tires, wheel weights were also on my wish list. He delivered on all 3! Armstrong 14.9x26 tires, rear factory pie weights, and front wheel weights. Very happy to have all of these key pieces for my project.
And then I got a phone call from another friend, he heard I was looking for 14.9x28 tires for my 160. Badly worn and in need of replacement, they may have a year left in them. Very nice pair of Firestone SAT II 14.9x28 at a great price. I’m not Irish but I felt pretty lucky this past week.

So nice to find good parts. Only problem with that is it makes it easier to $pend just a little more.

This D14 is probably my last tractor purchase just because of space limitations. Our father had one that I tried to find for the past 15 years. Never found it so I went on the search for a D14. I want it maxed out on factory options. This puts me there as it already came from the factory with the front grill guard. I’ve added factory PS and a tach that the owner didn’t order when new. Getting nice used pieces has allowed me to purchase stuff within my budget. Really hope it turns out nice, it’s in a hundred pieces as I have it in the paint booth preparing to paint it. Have the etching primer on it as well as the gray primer. The weather is playing havoc with my schedule.

Bet it will be a beauty when finished. Weather is sucking around here today too! 7 degrees, snow and a howling wind. It's not January, right?
