The wife attempted to grab some LJS at our local place. She informed me that the place was locked up tight with "multiple "papers in the windows Confused. Just curious if this a "here" thing or somewhat regional?

Consider yourself lucky........
I love fish, but what they sell ain’t it. Horrible greasy yuk!
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Nearest one to us is about an hour away.. Have not been there for 4 months. Use to stop by maybe once every 5-6 weeks... always thought the fish was pretty good.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Ks Gov shut down schools right away bars and restaurants.  But liquor stores were essential.   Go figure.    She has opened restaurants this week but I see they are not crowded .   People have more common sense than the Government wants to give them credit for.

n Well,,,our little ole Town is not big enough for a LJS,,so we always had to go to the Alien Town bout  42 miles to eat fish which has recently got to where their fish is so dang greasy,,!!  Then they opened a LJS in the town south of us bout 34 miles and I'll tell ya'll  for sure,,,,THERE IS A Difference!! The store in C-Bad serves some great fish that is NOT greasy at all and very tasty,,! We do not go to the Roswell store any more BUT,,,one time after one of the wife's surgeries,,,in Roswell,,she wanted some fish so we went and I'll tell you,,I HAD to tell the manager about the greasyness of their fish,,,!  he never batted an eye so we no longer go there. There is a big diffefernce between stores,,!!!

If the Deep Fry oil is not hot enough the batter will definitely get greasy. Others things can cause it but that is the most common. Thermostatic controls do wear out and lose calibrations too.
