Sorry for being a bit off topic. How do you guys neatly store your log chains? I’m currently just using 5 gallon buckets but would like a better way.

We "fold" them end over end a couple of times then drape them over the front rail of a trailer we don't use. Clear as mud?

I've got a length of angle iron mounted on the machine shed wall. Chain hooks hook on the vertical leg of the angle iron and the rest of the lengths hang on "s" hooks that also slide onto the angle. An 8 ft. length of 2 in. angle iron will store a lot of chain.

I fold mine in half and hang over the ladder going up to my unused hay loft in the barn. There is one folder in quarters and hanging over the lower seat shock mount on the WD 45. And one in a canvas tool bag in the back of my suburban.
