Trace... is the clothesline pole IN the ground right now?

If so, that concrete may have a really good grip that well exceeds the loader's capacity...  i pulled out a clothesline pole here, even after digging around the perimeter of the concrete, it took over 3400lbs of lifting force to break it free.  Only weighed about 275lbs, but it had a heckuva grip.

Try lifting a known weight, and see what happens.

Where did you tie onto the loader? The rating normally is at the pivot pins for the bucket. If the chain was over the bucket lip, the capacity is much lower. I was unable to pull a chain link fence post in concrete (about 100 lb} with my 190XT with a JD loader until I hooked onto the loader behind the bucket on the cross tube. The front tires were almost flattened before that. This loader has been able to lift a 3000 lb load.
