Bought this three weeks ago, finally figured out how to post a pic, I think.

I know the gentleman that had this and thought if he ever had an auction I would make a serious run at owning it. The auction hasn't happened but it showed up on C-list, the original asking price was a little (a lot) rich for my blood. Coming home from the Mid Ia. Antique Power show we went by his house, it's sitting buy the road with a for sale sign. Said to the uncle, "Pull in here, let's talk to Ed and look at this thing". A different asking price was on the sign, closer to my budget. Long story short, it's mine now. I've wanted one of these since they were new, remember seeing them at the dealer in Knoxville when Dad was dealing on his 175. Always thought they were the pinocle of garden tractors, Mike.

Thanks guys. I am a proud new owner. Need to get the deck on this thing. It's not perfect but in overall good shape.

The uncle thinks it needs to go to the MIATA show next year, (Allis is the feature) along with most everything else orange on the farm. We'll see.

Nice acquisition, I'm sure that you're going to get many mores years of enjoyment from this tractor.

Could you please post a few pictures on the backside of the front blade, thanks.

Nice find, does it have a working hour meter? I have 2 of them, both have blades, but are missing the angle adjustment rod that you are lucky to have. Would you mind snapping some close up pictures? Some measurements, I would love to have two made for my 720's. also the location of the rod support. Thank you in advance.

Mike,

What size are the front tires on your 720?  Mine has the 4.00-9 fronts but I want to put a wider tire on it.

Thanks, Todd

I will get you some measurements and pics some time this week, that blade is pretty neat.

Todd, the front tires are 20x8-10s.

You know, if these units would have been available in 1962 we may still be in the Farm Equipment busiess.  Looks like just what we needed in our area.  Large units even the D-10 or D-12 were too big.  Sold Wheel Horse for a while but that was just too small.  Would have loved to have these to sell.
Take good care of it.
Good Luck!
