A guy who once was a local AC dealer and still works on tractors told me the Kioti tractors impressed him more than Kubota or JD. I, personally, have never had any experience with them.
I have two small Massey Ferguson tractors. We have an excellent local dealer for MF and he is really good about ordering me AC parts, since MF is AGCO. My feeling is that any tractor is only as good as your dealer is.

We have one at the school.it has alot of nice features and is dold and serviced by a very reputable loal dealer. I think its underpowered and im not a fan of the hydrostatic drive low is exyreamly slow but need youll over load it trying to work it faster. The loader is very good as long as your throttled up.the cab is pretty spacous and has doors on both sides. 4wd is needed havent needed the diff lock. Power steering is smooth and precise. The seating position is to low and the cab is 1 inch yo yall yo fiy a standard garage's door.

I would not buy (spend big bucks on ) any tractor unless I could see one with 2000 hours on it and see it's history....

A really good friend of mine has a Kiote with less than 100 hours on it. 45 hp tractor, cab, all the bells and whistles. He came out to the shop a few months ago (fully closed in shop) and found the left hand door glass shattered. The dealer wouldn’t cover it under warranty even though he took pictures that it was parked in the garage. $1,800 later he had to foot the bill. Did some research and found that this had been a common problem with the big glass doors. Not enough support members supporting the glass. Even though he presented this they would not cover it. He really likes the tractor but this has really turned him against Kiote.
I really like my Mahindra, they have been in business since the 50’s. I purchased a new Mahindra, 7 years later I have no complaints. All metal hood and fenders sold me along with the Mitsubishi engine. It’s a great little tractor. I highly recommend a Mahindra. Just my 2 cents. Agree with you… 2000 hours would generally tell if it’s a piece of crap. I’ve heard about new things having a lot of “bugs”… Worst thing is loose bolts, people relay on impact wrenches more than a quick check of a breaker bar. And when the battery (or air) start going weak the bolts don’t get tight a problem waiting to happen is made. |
