Haven’t been to a KFC but once in the eight years since moving to Texas. Bush’s Chicken is a heck of a lot better than KFC.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I’m hearing lots of stories like that. Restaurants and stores both short on chicken and other things.
I’ve heard others mention KFC. I’m also curious about other parts of the country? |

I was just telling my wife this. She said the local KFC has no chicken either. She says every place in town closes early also. She says there’s no place the night shift nurses can get food. They have to bring it.

Haven't heard of a food shortage here. Just a shortage of people willing to cook and serve it. See signs all over for help wanted in all kinds of work. Fifteen dollars an hour to start in fast food, say what !!!!

Probably stuck on the train waiting for delivery, or the electric semi ran out of juice.

Not out of but the thighs, legs n wings must be off of pullets, also containers for the sides are only 1/2 full at best. Really they're so little. Thought maybe I was a bit nuts so went to a sit down restaurant and had their chicken dinner, yes the leg & wing were WAY larger and the breast was huge.
Supplier issues is my guess, demand up so they accepted birds to process early.

Wife went to WM a few days ago, wrote that rant yet her absolute take away was nearly every aisle had empty shelves where products had not recently been restocked. |

Yes heard that Wally world is almost bare again. Had chicken wings the other day at lunch and they were huge. I think that while folks cant cook them they keep growing!:)

Yep grab a burger while the getting is good, on a real beef burger. One heck of a bunch of cows went to burger from the west side of the Rockies. The northern plains sending all the cows they will not have hay to winter now. But in not to many months beef will cost a lot more if you can find it.
But never fear JBS that has come to us from Brazil and become the biggest red meat processer in the world is looking to buy into poultry in the USA. They practiced selling rotted meat in Brazil but did not have it perfected. Was so bad a few big wigs had to do jail time in Brazil.
But I am sure they have it improved so the "average Joe" cannot tell now with a few more years to practice. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's the chicken sandwich wars that have been waging for awhile now. There are lines around the block at some of them places. I just drove thru a KFC and got a chick sammy no wait and it was a decent sammy.

I can count the times on one hand that I have visited a KFC, and probably have a thumb and pinky left over. I don't like MSG. When I want a chicken sandwich, I go the the place gays don't like.

BTW Freegas, NOT a "Tale" saw it FIRST HAND, as well nearly every KFC for seven counties around us FAIL the Health Inspections Month to Month, are printed in the local rags and shared thru Faceplant Instagram and other methods of social media.
I DO partake of Class Act 'Restaurants' that do NOT end up in the Health Code Violations section of the papers. I also DO Partake of decent food from restaurants and NOT KFC Garbage. Edited by DMiller - 25 Aug 2021 at 6:24pm |

Only shop here that is chain is Subway otherwise unique restaurants
In Washington MO have all the chains including KFC that has been shut down five tomes in last two years, we go to Applebees or to a nice old hotel restaurant up in old town. Deceased brother in law was a manager of Applebee shops as well another line he had to take on per his boss but did not care for, these were owned by a large corporate entity. If want a fast burger use Steak and Shake or DQ If want a quality burger and fries use Hermann Deli or the Dutch Mill hotel in Washington If want a great dinner either fried chicken or liver and onions or similar we go to the Silver Dollar at Swiss or the Corner in Rhineland or Applebees. I try to avoid much else as generally get to enjoy gastric distress from the others. Do have one Mex shop we drop into from time to time, family owned with several shops open in three cities around here, Dos Primos, best menu options and actually has Mexican cooks. |

DMiller my last post wasn’t intended to be a smartass comment to you. I just reread it and now I wish to apologize.
All I meant by it is that we dont have many options in rural Arkansas and now they have shortages and shut down early. Some of the nurses literally run home sleep and run right back. If they take time to prepare a meal it’s depriving them of much needed sleep. I hope you and the rest of you each have a good day. |
