Well,,,after so many months of wheeling and dealing,,I have succeeded in talking ole Shameless out of the Chevy Allis and give it a permanent home down here in Southeast New Mexico,,,yea,,!!!!! My plans are to do a total "rebuilding" ( MY rebuilding means,,if it ain't broke,,it don't need fixin) of all the mechanicals and, and, then,,,give it one of my "Shade Tree Custom Paint jobs,,,,them bugs in the paint give it thet custom one of a kind look,,,,,  Plans are to dedicate the finished product to Mr. and Mrs. Shameless from Blair Nebraska. There is this dude in town that has been bugging me to enter the D14 in the local parades,,,SOoooo,,I'm gonna give him one to enter, hopefully next spring. I think the sweetest sounding engine is a Chevy 6 banger with split manifold and straight pipes,,,,,GET OUT THE WAY,,,,all you danged John Deeres,,,,!!!!! OK,,,now comes the rest of the story,,,,,,, I would like to look into the possibility of an "Allis Express" movement for the tractor from Blair, Nebraska to SE New Mexico. Anybody got any upcoming possibilities,,?? My wife has suggested we plan a trip up to Blair after she gets her Prosthetic foot and I am really looking forward to meeting " THE MAN" and his wife,,,,,,!!!! BOY,,,they's gonna be some shenanigans in Blair,,,for sure,,,!!!  Them stockholders best be checkin their flower beds,,,,,,oooops,,better not let the cats outa the bag,,,,

Mr and Mrs Shameless are some fine folks, Joe. Was a honor and a privilege to meet them myself. Only thing you have to remember is that if he offers you some home made chile, take a couple helpings, or you'll find yourself in a blizzard when you get home. darrel

Joe, you should wait until late July to go then you can go to Hutch also and meet a bunch of us AC folks, you could even drag ole Shameless along with you.

I think if his health is better now Shameless should embark on a US tour so all of us could have a meet and greet with him. He could charge admission, have it in Walmart parking lots and use the funds to pay his deductibles? I will even put him in up in the house if he came to North Carolina as long as Mrs Shameless came with him.

you come on up here, but leave them snakes and ferds down there! my driveway is a ferd tow away zone! i'll gits the steaks for the grill, and sum fine wine to wash it down with! I really thinks you and Joyce will like it here. we gots trees and lots of "green yards" here! i'd even let you ride/drive my zero turn mower to mow my yard! do you wear regular shoes? one of my "puppies" loves to lick between toes! in all seriousness...a trip here or anywhere would be a good thing for Joyce! oh...o-k....and you too! better brings a BIG trailer, might see something else you wanna takes home with you!

Isn't the price getting a little high when someone suggest he is Legend In His Own Time. 
But I guess he has sweetened the deal by saying bring a BIG trailer so he can put more treasure on to get it out before the stockholders pay to put it in the dump.

I asked everyone on Allis Express to deny hauling the ChebyAllis so’that you and Joyce could do a road trip up this way. Annie and I have lots a room Fer y’all and we should probably get a day or two of fishing in while you come thru here. I am 4 hrs door to door from shameless. A lil less ifn ya don’t stop ta P.

Well JohnKC,,,that right there is right neighborly,,,!!!! And we will most definately keep the kind offer right up front in mind. He doesn't know it yet but I had wanted to stop by and visit ole Thad and I believe he is some close to you so that will be a good thing. I figure I'll be able to eat bout 3-4 days of Chile 'fore ole Shameless be wantin to run me out due to some "gassy" issues,,,,,, Thet Chile kinda makes me pass some of that there Wind,,,,, Chit,,I'm gettin excited bout the road trip already,,,,,

will hafta be after July sometime, the old lady's hen session quilt making state convention is in the last part of July if'n i'm not in the hospital! and even that time of year, it's to hot to make my special chile then! but I could ship you sum when it gits colder outside! but I gots lots of good eats I can make for this time of year! I may hafta season a new grill before you gits here! grilled up an 8 inch pork loin with pineapple and onions tonight....whew...yummy!

Probably better ifn the weather is to hot for the chili, sure would haint to see ol Joe's loving wife riding with her head hangin out the window all the way home cause the smell from that chili is tooo bad fors her to stay inside the cab.
