A friend recently acquired an AC crawler but doesn't know model, where do we look for model / ID? It has a Detroit 2 cycle engine. Thanks

The DETROIT 2 cylinder is in HD5 ALLIS CHALMERS  and serie number should be stamp on rear housing  left side

That said... he only said 2 cycle, not how many cylinders.
Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!

hmmm,  oops, i read 2 cylinder detroit.

so detroits by cylinders in AC crawlers
71 series

2 - hd5
3 -hd7
4 -hd10, hd9
6 - Hd14 Hd15 hd19

110 series
6- HD20

and of course Euclid and Terex dozers used Detroits also
