Bruce, you may have to try and find an IB that still has the battery mounted on the left  fender and measure everything up.
Someone else on here might chime in with dimensions and info on the other parts you need.

From the reseach I've done when I was restoring my IB was that the Battery box could have been mounted in numerous area's. The stock location was the left rear fender where you could whack yer' kneecap workin' the clutch. Some IB's were equipped with sickle bar mowers, and with other attachments, so it varied where the box was mounted. Mine was on the right frame rail like in the pic, so that's where I installed the new box. Mine also had an office chair for a seat also, and ya don't see that to often. That musta' been a rare option.....  LOL!  LOL

Bruce,

I am currently working on my IB at the moment, there is a flat steel bracket that mounts between the left fender and the frame rail that the battery box mounts to, I used a battery box for a WC and drilled 1 hole to match up with the holes in the plate, I may have an extra bellcrank laying around if it didn't get thrown away yet.

Let me know if you need any pictures of anything.

Here is a picture that shows the plate, Mine had the wrong battery box on it when I bought it.
