But here's the question that I was asked today: Did Farmall ever make there version of the WD Speed Patrol at any time? Suppose to be one in one of the trader mags in his area. Said it sounded like it might be M or Super M model. Anyone heard of one?
thanks, FredinInd

I just did a quick google search and it appears there were at least 3 manufacturers of a conversion for an M.

I have 1. It's based on a farmall H. It's an American no. 6 built by the American road machinery company. They made a no. 9 That was powered by an M Farmall or a M.M. U.

NO, I just could not remember the name of the aftermarket attachment companies for these machines. Did you think "home built" from my post? Sorry if you did.

No, I didn't think home built, just where did they send the tractors out to be refitted at. Thats first pics I've seen of that configuration on another tractor without it being a speed patrol allis....never to old to learn something new I guess.........

So did IH make any with these mods or were they only modified by other companies? The Allis was built by Allis with all the mods being Allis, I'm pretty sure.

There was a company called RICHARDSON that also built grader conversions for tractors. I've seen one on a Cockshutt 40. The Allis Speed patrols were all Allis.
