I admire your honesty. Ryan , the world needs more people like you. I paid alot more than for my IB. Mine had a Drott blade on it. I can't tell if thats a drott blade or not. mine has tag on the frame rails that says drott mfg on it. you get it restored , you can be proud of the tractor and your honesty!!!

We run a equipment business, sell all over the US and Canada, and into Mexico from time to time.  I like the rotary motto and I think it has worked well for us:

Is it the truth
Is it fair to all concerned
Will it build good will and better freindships
And is it beneficial to all concered

Pretty much covers it.

Nice IB.  Hope it gives you a lot of pleasure.

Nice find. Nice to hear of your honesty being rewarded. I am the same way as you, and I just can't help it. Maybe it comes from the way we were raised, maybe it's genetic, maybe it's just who we are, but I like to see that other people still have it. Post some pics of your new IB when you get her home. Get her running first, and you should have no trouble at all pushing out a parking spot for her. LOL!
I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

Very nice find! That would be a tough decision for some people to make. I'm glad that you made the right one. It paid off in the end and of course, you'll sleep better at night. It will also be a story that can be passed down with the tractor through the years and you may be as famous as George Washington and his cherry tree some day.

Keep us posted on her progress!
Just when I thought I was finishing my "honey-do-list", she turned the page!!!
