I see in the Auction Exchange where there was a auction for the Evert Hopwood estate.  Did any on here attend?  Brad MI are you related?  They have a pic of a black bar D14 that was restored, had PS, that sold for $3000.  Somebody got a heck of a deal on that.  Wished I had some money and could have attended!  Did anyone get a list of what else sold and prices?

Yes John, Evert was my Father. We lost dad last April. My brother and I are co-executors of the estate and set up the auction. Besides the D-14 dad also had a WD, cub, and Jubilee. My Brother got the Jubilee and we were happy with what the rest of the iron fetched. As you can see in the Auction Exchange article it was a pretty extensive auction with a wide variety of items.

Sorry to hear of your loss Brad.  I guess I missed that post!  It was a nice article.  I don't get the paper, my friend saved it for me to look at and I thought the name sounded familiar, and in the right neck of the woods.
