Shameless, I was in Deadwood SD last night. You would have been happy as a hog in a waller if you had been there. Great big ginormous snowflakes falling straight down without a puff of wind. Damn, that was purdy. Darrel

Already got it about 2" of very wet crap, grandson got me out ta bed at 6:00 am this morning wanting his snow tires put on. Gots them on and he's been flying around here on his 4 wheeler every since. His 1st time on it in the snow. He took down 1 trail can this AM, got Bob cats, squirells, turkey, rabbits, lots of big deer, pheasants, and several other critters showing. Its about nap time, got the old wood stove fired up, gonna be getting warm in here asap, just about right for that nap I feel coming on.

I'm guessin that he's feelin sorry for us so far this year. ALL us guys up here in the frozen tundra......How's he treatin you Darrel? We got nuthin but brown ground......but it's froze pretty hard right now!! Colder than a brass bra on ,,,,,,,,,,,, well, you get the idee...

Yeah, Ted,,I'm kinda likin what ole Tom has to put up with havin to go to all them "shows" with his wife and then,,,,,and then,,,,he never tells us where SHE is ,,,,but he gets to do some mighty fine "studyin" of the finer things in life,,,,PLUS,,,he then gets to sit in the easy chair and daydream bout all the days happenings,,,,sigh,,,

A balding, white haired man from Sherman Oaks in California , walked into a jewelery store ina local mall this past Friday evening with a beautiful much younger gal at his side.
He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring.

On Monday morning, the jeweler angrily phoned the old man and said 'There was only $25 in your account.'

Boys boys boys, I ain't got no heated blinds, all the grandsons got is one of my aluminum ladders and a platform he's built way up in a tree fork. As far as the dollies, well their pleasing to look in warm weather. Old gals got a a little show coming up this weekend but I am not invited, wondering if she's getting a little suspicious???? Oh well they say all good thinks gotta come to an end. Sure getting tired of these darn DR Hoe back belt commercials. I'm thinking about calling them and voulntering to "test" one of the darn things. I've had severe back problems for over 30 years, I'd sure be a good tester for the darn things.

No, I didn't. Might have helped if I would have spent a little more though, or it may have made matters worse, actually. Only left them 25 bucks. Had the best buffet I ever had though. Had prime rib and crab legs on it. Best part, it was free! Darrel

Well, I tell ya how it became "free". Friend of the family that we were with had enough points on his players club card, or whatever it is, for three free buffets. We had five of us, so we figured on buying two. When we went to buy them, a lady in front of us (complete stranger) asked us how many tickets we needed. we said two. She hands us two tickets and says "here you go!" She had more freebies built up than she could use, I guess, and if she didn't use them by that night, she would have lost them. So we got them. Would have been something like 33 bucks a piece if we would have had to buy them. Darn sure was good. It was at the "First Gold" Casino. Darrel

Shameless ole buddy, ya got me. I was picking up some fenders over in Rochester MN and the snow was FLYING!! First time I've seen this much this year! Sure was pretty! BUT,,,,,,you outta see the idots tryin to drive in it.....you'd think that by now, they'd know how, being up here in the Frozen Tundra.....all cept the new kids who just got their license. An I didn't see ONE PERSON on a cell phone!! They was SCARED....slippery, wet, blinding and PURDY white!! Thanks buddy!!
