Yes hearing aids help the last pair cost $6,500.00 and I went to VA in May or June and was told that I would hear something is 60 days, I am still waiting for the 60 days to happen. I was not in Vietnam so I can't get all the benefits. My present hearing aids will be 4 years old in January and the warrenty will be expired so the next time they quit working they will want $700.00 dollar to repair them. The bset thing I have done for them is to buy a hearing aid dryer and put them in every night.

My Phonak devices are water resistant, luckily as I AM out in the rain and around water sources with them in as well sweat like a open faucet anymore. The Office I received mine they sent the first pair back at the 11 month mark, were doing some weird things like the Left one would just mute on its own or the right one would not take a recharge without a reboot. Did say will not be able to duplicate that event unless they ARE doing similarly for a second round warranty without contesting by the producer. I am very happy with them as to hearing what had not for a LONG time.

Went thru our Mercy Medical Clinic. Are several hearing clinics around here that offer same product line. A Good Audiology Center would be my choice to see what you need.
The better aspect of the newer electronic units is they can computer program the frequency range to improve and adjust that over a few visits to make it sharper cleaner. Mine took three visits where one or two frequencies were Too harsh and they dialed those back enhancing the ones I needed higher.

Well, to hear is better than not to hear. Hope you are alright now, OP. Recently, I’ve been to my medical center adriameduae.com and saw so many people with hearing diseases. The doctors say that some of them have this problem from birth, and many have developed it. Some say it’s because of the earphones, especially the in-ear ones. I still use them because they are good at blocking the outside noise, but I try to keep the volume down. Sometimes I even can feel that my ears are tired of so much listening to music, and then I stop for a while. That’s why I’m saving money for some good speakers.
