Question for you cosmetic experts.
My early model 1961 HD16 had lights behind the upper grip. Standard I know. On my hood almost directly over that area are also 2 threaded holes on each side of hood. Did they also have an option for outside top mount headlights as well. I believe one of Ricks tractors has lights externally mounted. Curious. |

Not sure I can be of any value but over in the red world I see tracked units set up with lights on top and or sides depending the application. Farm units had them on the sides and construction units were generally on the top with guarding.
