Hello!   
I've been getting an HD11 back running again after sitting for 10+ years.  The main clutch between the engine and transmission will not disengage.  When the machine was parked there, it worked correctly.  
I've loosened the toothed wheel A LOT (counter clockwise).  It's to the point that I'm afraid it will unscrew completely.  I just want to make sure I'm trying the right things.  I've attached a photo.  Thus far, I can't get it to break free and slip at all.  I'm afraid I'll be pulling the bellhousing.  Does anyone have the procedures on how to adjust this clutch?

You could screw the adjusting ring and lock it and greace the shifting sleeve and pull back your 2 stering cluch lever and started the motor with the transmission angaged it should help

I've done that.  At this point, the clutch lever requires virtually no pressure to move it from disengaged to engaged.  It's not slipped one bit.  I can put it in gear and start the engine and move the machine around.  I'm going to try driving it for sometime in my driveway to see if it breaks free.  I don't have the blade on it right now, so I can't try to dig into the ground.
