A track shop will have special equipment but for a do it yourself person you have to remove the grousers and press each pin out. Some aftermarket pin and bushing sets were welded because the pins were made under size for easier assembly. You should check the height of the links. If the truck wheels are wearing the links at the pins either the links or the truck wheels are worn badly.

Thanks for the info. I believe the links should be 3.25 but are about 2 .93 inches tall ( 1/4 ") of wear. I have one track off and some pads off. Thinking of making a jig to press more pins out. I would like to find a better used track.

When pressing out pins - most track press shops leave one side still bolted onto links . This allows a surface easier to align when pressing back together .
A  do it yourself track press ? seems a lot of work and lot of time to do 2 tracks - then the amount of pressure needed to remove both the pin and bushing as both need to be turned 180 deg to bring that new surface into use.

Thanks for the great info. My tracks may not be worth the 1000 to have the pins and bushings turned.I need to figure out how to upload a picture.

would look for another price or so . Last set I had done was around $500
depending on the rail (link) height or amount of wear is another factor in can they be savaged .
On a set of HD5 track I found good pins and bushings and had them put into my track as height was good but bushing had worn through in spots. Guy i bought machine from ran it to long with worn parts and made junk of what was there .

I found a set of well used links pins and bushing that may fit my barco ac1351 & 1352 links. The links I found have numbers 233909 and and 581 they look like a fit. Can anyone confirm this? The bushings and pins look like I could get good use out of them if they fit my links.
