Thanks to all the help from this forum's members and for the excellent parts I needed to restore my Fathers WD.
Help I got from Members here..namely Steve at B&B for the electrics , Tony & Barb Carbaugh, & OK Tractor for parts made the Ole Girl go together better than I imagined. I recommend each of them for any Allis repair or restoration. This WD was bought new by my Father and I can still remember him driving it into the yard the day he picked it up at the Railway Station where it was delivered by factory. I drove her for several years myself and before Dad passed on in 2005 after driving it for 53 years he gave it to me telling me: "Make 'er look good again Tom". I hope he is pleased. |

I'm sure he's pretty damn pleased with that effort Tom!! Looks great man! Thank you for the referral to! Its appreciated. Nothin' like havin' your Dad's Tractor to restore and keeping it in your family! Probably looks better now than it did when it rolled off that railway car....
