I was given this from a neighbor.

He knew John Buzzell. Plant manager at Oxnard until 1982. Started off at La Porte plant.

These are likely common, but figured I'd share.

That was quite an accomplishment, Lynn !!  There was a real appetite for the new generation ORANGE tractors back then.

Yes, the 7000 series tractors dang near sold themselves with the features that they offered. In 1975, Paton,Iowa, celebrated their centennial. I drove a brand new 7060 to first place in the tractor pull. As I recall,all we did was remove the front weights, and add a donut weight to the rear. I think that it was the 12,000 pound class. Me and a guy on a 1456 IH both made a full pull on the first pull. More weight was added to the skid and I won the pull off. I think that I had the air on at the time. This year marks 150 years for Paton.
