   I never equated the susceptibility of getting poison ivy/oak to how good bugs think you taste. I have only had one case of poison oak and I get in it all the time. I got it fixing fence where a dozer drove over the fence.  Very hot, and very,very humid for this area. Sweating like crazy and scrapped my arm with a broken stem oozing sap out. So 1 x 2 inch spot on the arm. It got a big old boll and the itching like crazy. Did not cause bleeding but open the upper layer of skin and sweat to mix with the sap.
My dad and his brother never got it ether, or my three kids. Luckily my wife has only had a little spot or 2 of it in 45 years. She can handle my cloths that have been covered in it, and never has a problem. Have known people that walk by clothes that have been in poison oak and without touching them can get it bad.

But as to the bugs my wife has accused me of being less tasty than she is for years. As they go to her first, before even checking me out.
