I'm with you guys about the implements at shows. I have a little show just a mile from my farm, So it's not to hard to take lots of implements to it, I even take the A combine over there and the crowd loves it.

I'm with Pastor Mike. Two shows on the same day? I'm headed for the working one. Trailer space is my biggest limiting factor. I do plan to upgrade trailers someday. When one considers the size of trailer needed to haul, say a D17 and a Roto Baler or All Crop, takes a pretty big truck/trailer. Not getting any easier with the increased pressure from the DOT.

Working shows are great! One problem is it is harder to transport a tractor with equipment..as you guys know. I prefer a show where I can see the tractors working..but I get to few of them. And like Mike says, the weather may not cooperate.

It takes a lot of work to pull off a working show, plus insurance, etc, etc.  You have to get the crop in so that it's mature right at the show date, Mother Nature likes to fool around with you too.

I'd love to see a working show here in the Northern Tier/Southern Tier, but I don't have the time to commit to making it happen right now.
