Winter is near and that means time for some repair work. My case 5100 grain drill had been a great machine but it's due for some repair.

My main project is the press wheels in the back. I can be longer adjust them. The gears are worn out or stripped.

Where can I get parts for this other then the dealer. I'm thinking if I have the right units of anyway I may as well check the disc size.

I've also got to replace some of the plates in front of the discs. They are a triangle piece.

Can you post a picture? I sent some pictures to someone on here back in the spring of modifications I made on ours about 20 years ago that has held up. This was on the bar that applies down pressure on the disc openers. Doesn’t sound like what you’re describing. The press wheel parts aren’t that expensive through Case IH. I have replaced bearings in them all maybe twice that can be bought at Napa or Fastenal very reasonable. Kevin
