Just went to the mailbox, we have about 4 inches of wet snow, nicer tomorrow, maybe 38. Then supposed to get another 3 to 6 on Thursday and Friday and lows in the single digits on Sat morning. It is way to early for this.

How is the harvesting going in N. D.? Can't imagine you are finished yet. Wet snow wouldn't do the soy beans any good.

Harvest is progressing ahead of schedule but still a lot left, beans around here are about done, a few fields left. Quite a bit of corn left, we have about 350 acres left but we are in the southeast corner of the state so we are ahead of a lot of places.

Most are done around here. Some were done with corn and had equipment in the shed a couple weeks ago.

mostly all done here too, corn coming into the elevators is testing between 11% & 15.5%. saw 2 corn fields last sunday in IA that was almost completely covered with green growing corn plants. could see very well where the combine traveled and then where it spit out the corn to each side. big green farmer farms those fields. polly pretty safe to say that only about 1/2 went in the grain tank. don't think the fields were laying down as all the fields around them were standing tall.
