 Yeah,,Hubert,,thats what I was thinkin,,,,,that ground sounds like it needs something,,,,more later,,,Wink

Hey Dick L,,I am flat Loving how you are doing whats needed in order to get things done,,,almost like that wheel chair ain't even there,,,!!!Clap Wisht I could get the wife to accept hers,,UMMmm,,,,never mind,,,,
Now,,Dick,,I know you already know this but in my country of hard and sometimes rocky ground,,we've had to resort to ways of tricking mother nature,,,, If a water hose is close by,,I run the smallest little trickle of water where I plan to dig a hole the day before. If a hose not available,,I use a 5 gallon can, fill with water, then drill a small hole down towards the bottom and set where the new hole gonna be.,,,,It is amazing how this soaks down to where the diggin is pretty easy,,,some grounds may take a couple of buckets of water,,,,but who's in a hurry,,,???

The ground there was not as hard as where we augered  holes for Dixie's board walk ramp to her She Shed. We had to dump a pail of water in those over night. We have not had a good rain since spring. Not much first cutting of hay and no real growth since.
