Hd6g engine clutch lever travel spec?

   I have an hd6g crawler loader with a wet clutch. The clutch was slipping so I pulled the inspection cover and retaining tab so that I could turn the adjuster ring and adjust the clutch to about 25lbs of pull on the lever.

As I turn the adjuster ring I expect the pressure on the clutch lever will need to increase to get the clutch to snap "over the top". However, that is not what is happening.

As I turn the adjuster ring clockwise the only thing that happens is that the travel of the clutch lever decreases untill eventually it does not move at all, and the clutch remains engaged.

Any ideas what's going on? The clutch housing does not have oil in it for a while and some moisture might have gotten in. Could somthing be rusted?

I'm trying to avoid the pain of pulling the entire housing and clutch if at all possible.

	I think you should refell oil in housing and desajusted your cluch were she was approximatif and you should readjusted if she need just a notch each time and angaged the cluch lever until you have a good adjustement and should be better if you could started the motor each time after you try adjuste correctly.

	when I said refell the cluch housing it was refell the oil tank because the cluch housing should't have much oil inside .
