Well,,our youngest Son, Jamie, outdone hisself yesterday,,,, Himself a dyed in the wool Cajun lover hisself cooked up a big Shrimp Boil, loaded down with red taters, lots of sausages, sweeter than sweet corns, and a whole mess of big shrimps,,,, and he made sure everybody had their own Tony's,,so nobody had to wrestle for some Tony's,,,,, After three big bowls ful,,I finally throwed the spoon in and called it "No More",,, I'm thinkin if Jamie don't eat too much more,,,there'll be enough for a midnite snack when I get up,,,,,

One of my favorite dishes. A well balanced meal, and everything you could want in one place. I haven't had it a few years. I won't try to duplicate it cause I would just screw it up and ruin it for me.

Did he use Andouille sausage? I've tried different kinds, but by far the best is Johnsonville. Nobody else comes close. Next time I've gotta try and remember to put in a LOT more red taters. Seems everyone really likes them. I usually wait till last to dig in and by then the taters are all gone.... Oh yeah, I also use Pearl onions in mine. We had it last night!! Is that a coincidence or what!?
