Let me start by saying I'm new here an no nothing about tractors. I just have a curiosity question about my deceased father's tractor, shown in an old family photo that brought me here to you experts. My apologies in advance if I'm posting incorrectly. My dad used to mention his Allis Chalmers tractor when talking about the farm he was raised on, and then took over as a young adult. The attached photos show his tractor, taken on his farm. That's my brother and I in the pictures. Guesstimating our ages then I'd say this photo was taken in the late 50's. Both the farm and tractor are long gone. I'm just curious and wondering if anyone can help ID anything more in regard to his tractor - such as model, year, etc, etc. Again, please assume I know nothing about this, which is true. My brother sent me the photo, I'd like to share the info with him and our other siblings if there's anything more I can learn about. Thank you in advance! That's more than likely a '49-50 WD, spin-out rear wheels,is the biggest indicator,,,going by the intake manifold, best I can see it would fall in these years,,it,, (the intake manifold)changed in late 1950,early 1951...
