Got my WD in town on friday. Between a cancer scare with my boy, watching over my Dad who turned 81 yesterday, work, 2 other kids, grand baby, other "projects", some side work, etc., its just really nice to have the little guy where I can work on it. Looks like a 10 over bearing roll in, camshaft replacement, and I'll have it running properly. I'm gonna media blast, prime, paint, decal. New front tires, repair all the "little" things. I'm looking forward to being able to work at my pace without pressure. And the best is my wife looked at it by herself and later told me the tractor was "cute"...

Great that you have some encouragement, Trev- Have a vision, maintain focus, and apply constant pressure, it WILL get done... I've seen others do it, and I'm doing it myself!!!
BTW... buddy of mine agrees... the more we work on modern cars, the more we love old tractors!!! DK :-) |

Had a great day. All stripped down ready to media blast, cleaned a lot of dirt/grease off. What a nice tractor to work on. Ordered my crank and rod bearings, tommorrow I will pull the front cover to replace the camshaft. It is going a lot better than I anticipated. In the winter I stripped and primed the tank and hood, so thats done. I took out the starter, came out real easy and looks next to new. Manifold is very recent replacement. So, its coming along well, Ill post progress and pics if I can figure out how to do that, Trev.
