 Topic: 25-40 Parts Swap

Just wondering what parts will interchange between a 20-35 and a 25-40. I have a very early 25-40, 1930, and it will need some parts. I'm mainly looking at front axle parts, possibly a hood, an exhaust/intake manifold, drawbar hanger, complete brake assembly and a belt pulley. Nothing as far as the engine goes yet.

The rear chassis is 20-35 and the engine is the same as the A. Now some of the front end parts are the same, in fact there are a lot things that interchange.

Now dang it you gotta make up your mind, do you want an antique tractor or one with brakes?  The brake appears the same but I don't know for sure.

The brake drum is the same, I am not sure on the brake band, I think they are the same.
Hoods are slightly different from one to another, We make new hoods and always have people measure because sometimes the radiator is set slightly different. measure from the edge of the gas tank and then to the radiator, for the correct length. I believe the gas tanks are the same, but the A gas tank is different in length.

Sorry gentlemen lol this is the first tractor I've owned this rare. The most recent east a 1936 U, and I thought THAT was a puzzle lol from what I can read, the serial is 24737, and the engine code denotes strictly as gasoline. The exhaust manifold is broke off at the top, tie rod is bent to where I cant steer to the left, and no brake assembly or belt pulley. After closer inspection, the valve covers were cut open, and crank case breathers were welded into place. These were tall enough to warrant somebody cutting the hood. It has the casting to mount a rear air breather as well which makes me believe it's one of the earlier 25-40's.
