was the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. This was the event that plunged our country into WW2 and took the lives of many of our sailors. Today is a day to remember and honor them as well as all those that served in the ensuing conflict. Very few veterans of that era are still around. I wonder if there will be any mention of it on the news today. 
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

I am a Shadow of my Parents, my Grands and close relatives.  Uncle and Dad USN Aviation WWII, All too many Family members Previous Service Time Blood or by Marriage, so we hold/held all the same values.  

We have one cousin still on duty in the service, will always and forever be On Duty where died there.
