Don't know for sure, but possibly a 170 could fit on a D-15 ?? and for sure a D-17. But, a 170 probably can't fit on a D-19 as it's too short ??  I would imagine many of the parts would interchange between the different models.  I'm not an Allis picker guy, so I'm speculating.

Thanks Doc
I always appreciate your input...

I know the "model 150" picker will only fit the D14 and D15 tractors...

I have heard there were improvements made on the 190 pickers.
I just don't know what they are... Or if it's an improvement i could live without....

I've got Swinford's book at home. It may have some info in it.

The "book" says:  1961 model 150 picker for D-14 and D-15.......1961 model 170 for the D-17 only.......1962 model 190 picker made for D-17 and D-19.   In 1962 production the 150 and 170 pickers were now equipped with "rotary feeders" that were installed over the first elevators to help keep things moving along. The model 190 picker had these rotary feeders from the get-go, along with three gathering chains instead of two like the 150-170. Later model 190's snapping rolls were redesigned to provide 30% more snapping action and then dual rotary feeders over the first elevators instead of one. Sounds like continual updating and improvements and the 190 must have been higher capacity by the sounds of it. Production stopped in 1966 and a sheller attachment was never built.
