Daughter had to have hers replaced and now one of ours is messed up. She was told to replace all four. Does that sound smart or just an up sell? Thanks

Is as simple as valve Stem replacement HOWEVER will have to find tire shop with correct units then reprogram ECM to see them. 2010 Impala, been thru TWO replacement Sets.

I'm a believer, saved me a tire while on the interstate. A tire started losing pressure fast, managed to limp it off the hwy before totally flat. Getting the wheel of was another story, seized on the hub and had to get a guy with a BFH to knock it loose. Tires had been rotated-at least I was told they were? Many tire shops want to replace sensors when new tires are installed.

You can get them aftermarket a lot cheaper than at dealer or tire shop
Friend just ordered set from Amazon - 4 units - 1 bad - ordered another batch 4 good returned first set - bought new tires and had 4 new ones put in -
Units should reprogram themselves within a few miles , on my Sebring had 3 bad stems over 3 years - first 2 replaced under warranty - next one Dealer wanted $90 to replace - tire shop aftermarket was $40 installed - rebalance tire - reprogramed itself within a mile |

WE have a 2010 EDGE and a 2013 F150 and both have the original sensors... 10- 25 years is suppose to be the "limit"...battery eventually dies.... Like Dave said, they are inside the tire , connected to the valve stem..

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

[QUOTE=Tbone95] Hmmm, questions….why is a cop car equipped with a pick ax, and what am I supposed to do with it?
He really wanted to be a firefighter but had to settle for being a law enforcement officer 😜. Shortly after I changed to P rated tires on my 2013 F150 tire light came on but when I went back to LT tires it went off. Guessing the sensors didn’t like the change in the amount of pressure.
