Here is the issue.. Bought a new manifold and got it on. But as I was tightening it down oe of the "ears" broke off that the stud goes  thru. So not real happy but I know I can return it. But one thing that really is a big issue is that there is no way to get the line back on to the top of the power steerig pump. The last Port is all square and not enoug clearance so do you have to grind it down?

That iis common on after market D17 manifolds. Never over tighten the two outer bolts.
 Have you tried bolting the carb. on? Most of the time there is not enough room for the nuts. If you try grinding it out you may grind through.
 Some brands of after market are better than others.   MACK
