Anybody have any ways to control the surging? I was told that you can take a spring from the linkage of the carb to the arm out of the governer and this will smooth it out. Any help would be great thanks even a picture would be helpful thanks

The CE engines had a light spring from the throttle rod to a front manifold bolt. It takes all the slop out of the linkage except for the hole in the arm on the carb.
