Well Greg, I must confess I was rootin' for the Tide since they are an SEC team and I have a good friend in Alabama that is a raving foaming at the mouth "Bama fan. But the Buckeyes did great, they made it to the National Championship and for a while held their own. And I loved the beating they put on Clemson in the semifinal.

As Tbone said, that didn't go according to plan. Alabama showed who really wanted it though, and cheers to them. My daughter lives in Alabama and is quartermaster at her VFW post, and has been talking a lot about Ohio State, so she said it will not be pleasant for her there for a while. "Next Year"
At least one Ohio team did well this week as the Browns showed signs of life and what its like for a hungry team to be on the prowl. |
