Try my home recipe of Baked Spaghetti.
Go to local Aldi’s & buy two 24oz jars of Priano Maranara pasta sauce, one bag of Fazio’s frozen Italian meatballs, & a 32oz box of Angel Hair pasta. Prepare half of the Angel Hair spaghetti per box directions on stove-top. While Spaghetti water is warming up, dice up a whole onion & 2-3 mushrooms Into a large cast iron skillet with a tsp of bacon grease. Let onions & mushrooms caramelize then add the maranara sauce & frozen Italian meatballs & bring all to a boil, stirring it to keep it from scorching. While stirring, cut up meatballs after they defrost to create a meat sauce. Once spaghetti is cooked, let cool 10-15 minutes and then drain excess water. Turn on oven to bake at 425. In another large cast iron skillet, butter it’s sides & bottom. Add a Layer of spaghetti then a layer of meat sauce. Sponge the meat sauce into the pasta, Repeat layers & sponging until all contents are used up. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top to your liking. Dice 1 tbp of stick butter on cheese. Place in hot oven & cook for 30 minutes until bubbling in middle. Then change oven from bake to broil. Broil 1-2 minutes to caramelize cheese topping. Let rest for 30 minutes, serve & enjoy. My wife has a similar recipe, she also does a killer spaghetti stroganoff, one of my favorites.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
